ALBERTO HERNÁN-GÓMEZ

Alberto received his Ph.D. degree from Universidad de Alcalá (Spain) in 2012, under the supervision of Avelino Martín and Cristina Santamaría. After his first postdoctoral period at University of Strathclyde working with Professor Eva Hevia, he moved to the University of Girona to work with Professor Miquel Costas, as a Marie Curie Fellow. In 2019 he was awarded with the “Atracción de Talento, Modalidad 1” fellowship to begin his research as principal investigator at University of Alcalá. His research interests are the development of mono and multimetallic low-valent transition metal compounds supported by bridging and redox active ligands as effective tools for the activation of small molecules.
